Virtual Sculpture

A still life scene inspired by undersea environments and surrealists paintings, created for Week 36 of Still Here Still Life, a weekly online still life drawing challenge, and hosted by Implied Gallery. The scene came from the question ‘what would a dinnerware set look like for a mermaid?’, and drew on victorian botanical illustrations. The sculpture was created from scratch using a combination of hard surface modelling and virtual sculpting  processes.
